UTILITY ROPE ~ Averages 25’ long (up to 50’ on custom order). Made of hand-twisted, fire-finished jute. Available in 4-ply, 6-ply, 8-ply, 10-ply and 12-ply. This rope has an awesome look and feel; better than any foreign-import is going to do for your portrayal.
“This last October I shot a buck with my new rifle. I had with me the 8-ply rope made by Darrell. I used it to handle the field dressed deer from a limb—which included pulling and dragging 140 pounds or so up into the air and then tying the rope to the tree….. Later, I lowered the deer and dragged the carcass up the ridge line and to the vehicle. At home, I used the rope again to hoist the deer from a limb on a maple in my backyard. My oldest son and I spent the day butchering the deer from that location. The rope never stretched, never frayed, never relaxed at the knot or the loop around the neck. I was dully impressed….. You make a good product and one that not many folks have every [sic] done…. You are on to something good, here.” - sent to us by a longhunter who wishes to remain anonymous.
